The IARS/CHC used to offer an extensive awards and achievement program. After a period of stand-by, these awards are again available via F5PBL who is now issuing them on his own. The following rules are applicable.
GENERAL RULES
1. All awards are available to licensed amateurs and SWL's throughout the world.
2. The GCR (General Certification Rules) apply to all applications submitted. GCR indicates that all applications must be accompanied by either photo copies of the QSLs offered for credit, or a signed certification (by an official of your local radio club, two licensed amateurs, or a notary public) that the QSL cards for the QSO's claimed as credit, are in your possession.
3. A log extract listing all contacts claimed as credit, in alphabetical order by prefix, which includes date, time, call sign, frequency and mode, along with any supporting data for requested endorsements.
4. The Award Manager reserves the right to examine any or all QSLs claimed for credit in your application prior to issuance of the requested award. It is considered policy to occasionally request a specific card or two from random applications. This is normal procedure. Should you receive such a request, please do not be offended. This is just a way to insure the integrity of the awards program.
5. All decisions regarding the eligibility of submitted applications and contacts offered for credit is solely at the discretion of the Award Manager.
6. Requests for band, mode, power endorsements, etc., may be made at any time. All supporting data must appear on your submitted log extract. Fee is $1/Euro 1 per endorsement.
7. The application fee for each of these awards is Euro 10.00, US$15.00 or equivalent in IRC. Cheques are accepted only if payable
in Euro, otherwise prefer cash or IMO.All money orders in payment of application fees should be made payable to Claude TERRIER, and should be submitted as follows:
