- Chinese Taipei ARL Awards Program

Worked Chinese Prefixes

Contact different Chinese prefixes: BA BT BO BV BY BZ 3H to 3U. No repeater contacts, but satellite is OK. Available for all CW, SSB or mixed modes. All bands. Basic award = 20 prefixes, Class B = 30, Class A = 40.

Worked All Taiwan Districts

Contact an amateur station located in each of the 10 call areas (1 through 0) of Taiwan. No band or mode restriction, however, repeaters cannot be used.

10,000 Award

Contact with amateurs in towns with different 3-digit postal codes in Taiwan. The codes must add to at least 10,000. Each code may be used one time only. All bands and modes, except no repeater.

Kaohsiung DX ARC Award

THAILAND     

Langsuan 56 Dxer Group Program

General Requirements: GCR accepted. All modes and bands. Fee for each of the awards is $US7 or 10 IRCs. SWL OK. Apply to Chartchai V, HS1NGR, PO Box 20, Langsuan Chumphon 86110, Thailand. (For the Chumphon Award, apply to: Ochar Rittisom HS8LR, PO Box 20, Langsuan Chumphon 86110, Thailand).

    Chumphon Award - Contact any 8 stations world wide and using the last letter of their Suffix, spell the word "CHUMPHON".

The Kerkennah Award is issued to any station providing proof of 10 contacts with stations in the Kerkennah Islands of Tunisia using any band and mode. Contacts with these stations will count:

3V8BT in March 2000
TS7N in November 2000
TS7N in November/December 2003

General Requirements: SWL OK.  GCR list is acceptable, but if you are unable to provide certification, you must send the cards plus funds to return the cards.   All contacts must be made from the same location.  Fee for foriegn amateurs is $US8 or 12 IRCs per award.  Fee for TRAC members is $US4 or 8 IRC's.  All bands or modes.  Only contacts with amateur stations authorized by the Turkish authorities may be used.  Endorsement for one band, mode or QRP (5w or less). Contact stations located in at least 40 different cities of Turkey.  Application list should be in alphabetical order.

     TA 144 MHZ One Hundred
Contact 100 different Turkish stations using the 144Mhz band.

Make one contact in each call area of Turkey (0 through 9) on or after 1 January 1983.   A missing contact with the TA0 call area can be substituted by working any of the other special prefixes of Turkey which include: TB, TC and YM.
