As newly discovered awards are added to the K1BV Directory, I place them in this working file.  Usually all rules/conditions are OK, but this file may occasionally have incomplete data, until clarified by the sponsor. 
This file was started January 2, 2009.

BULGARIA                            BULGARIAN FLORA FAUNA AWARD (LZFFA)

Sponsored by the Bulgarian Federation of Radio Amateurs ( BFRA ) and available to all amateurs and SWLs to introduce the National Parks, the Nature Parks, the Nature Reserves, the Biosphere Reserves and the Upheld Nature Reserves, recognized by the Bulgarian Ministry of the Environment and Water. The rule follows the outlines of the " WFF – World Flora Fauna " Award (http://www.wff44.com).

There is no fee if the award and stickers are requested to be in electronic format. It will be sent in pdf format . Contacts on all amateur radio bands, from 2 to 160 m ; SSB, CW. Digital modes are valid. For the Award there is no differentiations of mode or band. No use of repeaters.

Contacts with stations from LZFF references on or after January 1st., 2000.

Each request for the award either hunter or activator must be based on WFF LogSearch Application http://ew4dx.org/WFFsearch.html, eLog of expeditions sent to Award Manager or to be based on QSL received in any form. Claim also can be made using a completed Application Form which can be downloaded from the web site: http://www.lzffa.mtt.or The hunterr (for QSOs) : does not have to send QSL cards to claim the Award but all the contacts must be shown in the LogSearch at http://www.ew4dx.org/WFFsearch.html All the claimant has to do is to send the Application Form and payment..

If the contacts are not shown in the online log, then you may send scanned QSL cards via E-mail or to send actual QSL cards, SAE and postage via regular mail.

A separate set of rules has been established to guide Activators of the Parks and Nature reserves. Refer to the WWW site.

FRANCE                                  MILITARY Amateur Radio Clubs AWARD

Available for any French or foreign amateur radio operator who holds a regular licence for contacting 5 French Military radio clubs. (SWL OK). No beginning date.  The French Military amateur radio clubs – Army, Navy, Air Forces - may be located either in Metropolitan France (including TK- Corsica) , in French overseas Departments , Collectivities or Territories, or in foreign countries where the Radio Club is permitted under International agreements or treaties with France. In those cases where a French unit stays under the NATO or UNO authority, the QSO’s with its ARC, using a regular licence of the country in which they serve , will also count for this award.

* Four classes possible : MIXED MODE, CW, SSB and DIGITAL. 
* QSO’s made using repeaters cannot be used to claim the award.
* QSO’s with a Military ARC using a special callsign are valid for the award.
* All bands, including WARC bands.
* The proofs of QSO’s or SWL reports (QSL cards ) must be included with your applicaton. They will be returned with the Award.

ROMANIA                               YO Fauna Flora Award

The Award is issued by Societatea Romana al Radioamatorilor - YO FF Group. Contact stations operating from Romanian Nature Parks and Reservations listed valid for this award. All bands and modes OK.

Romanian stations need 8 different parks, Europeans need 5 and all others 3.

Endorsement stickers are available for additional contacts. Romanians need 8 more, Europeans need 5 and all others need 3. Fee for the endorsements are 2€ each by mail, but if it is placed on a "diploma" by electronic modes, there is no charge. Special Trophy is being made available if you have contacted all 25 parks. The special trophy is available only by mail and the fee is 20E.  Send list of contacts and fee of 5€. There is no fee if the award is requested in electronic format (pdf or jpg).
