General Requirements: Contacts after 1 June 1987. SWL OK. All modes and bands, except no use of repeater or satellite. NAFRAS members/sponsors have numbers, their QSL will show that number. Contact with club station PI4NAF count for 2 members/sponsors.  They also have sponsor members; their QSL will show that number with a D (D44). NLCC Award

This award is available to amateurs who have confirmed at least 100 SWL reports. By answering these SWL cards, they have contributed to the education of a new generation of amateurs. The application should consist of a signed list with SWL-call, date, frequency, mode and the city of the SWL report which was answered. Endorsements for single band or mode upon request. Fee is 5€. Contact members of Nijimegen branch of VERON R35. SWL OK. No date, band, mode limitations. All valid QSLs will show the text: "THIS QSL-CARD IS VALID FOR THE NOVIOMAGUM CERTIFICATE". On HF, earn 10 points, 144 MHz and above, earn 30 points. Contacts via repeaters/transponders on 144 and 430 MHz are not valid. Robben Award                (Dutch Seal Award)

Contact stations in who have a Seal number. Most of them are in the Northern part of the Netherlands near the Wadden Sea (it includes the provinces of Friesland and Groningen or the islands: Texel, Vlieland, Schiermonikoog, Terschelling and Ameland). Other stations with a seal number count as well. SWL OK. Earn 10 points for the basic award. Each number is 1 point and the clubstations PI4FRG, PI4HSG, PI4LWD en PI5WB = 2 points. All bands and modes. Contacts after 1 January 1986.

There are 2 small endorsement flags you can earn after the basic award.

1e small flag: stations in the prov. Friesland and Groningen needed 25 points and all others 13.

2e small flag: stations in the prov. Friesland and Groningen needed 50 points and all others 25.

The points of the basic award may be used for the first flag and the points of the 1e flag are the first 25 (13) for the 2e flag. Steel Award

Contact 3 amateurs on or after 1 September 2008 who work at the Corus-Hoogovens steel plant.  (Corus is Europe's second largest steel producer with annual revenues of around £12 billion and a crude steel production of over 20 million tonnes annually). Pieter Stuyvesant Award

This award honors Pieter Stuyvesant who was born in Wolvega . Stuyvesant was the fourth and last Director General of the Dutch colony of New Netherland, later known as New York. (1610-1678). To earn the award, spell out the name PIETER STUYVESANT using the last letter of the suffix of Netherlands stations. Contacts must be on HF or VHF/UHF/SHF, but not mixed and must be after 1 Jan 1987. Two of these contacts must be made with members of Radio Amateur Club Wolvega Regio 14. For PA stations only, two of the required contacts may be substituted with contacts of members of the club. PACC (PA Century Club)

Work 100 different Dutch stations (PA PB PD PE PI) after 1 June 1945. Available for HF, VHF, UHF or SHF. Endorsements for each 100 more up to 900.  Contacts made during the annual PACC contest also count and don't have to be confirmed by a QSL card, provided that the PA station has submitted a log in that contest.

Very High Speed Club

Formed in 1961 to encourge the ability to send and receive very high speed CW. To join, be active on the HF bands using CW speeds of 40 WPM or higher and show your ability to read and send at this speed perfectly.

VHSC members may give you a recommendation for membership. This may be earned by having a 2-way CW contct with a VHSC member for at least 30 minutes using telegraphy speed of 200 letters per minute or higher (PARIS base, 40 WPM). No keyboards or decoders are allowed during these contacts. After receiving 4 recommendations, send with your application for membership together with a fee of 10 IRCs or eqivalent to: D.J. Hoogma PA0DIN, Schoutstraat 15, 6525 XR Nijmegen, Netherlands. All the recommendations must show the duration of the QSO and specifically mention the CW speed used. Your application should contain a statement that you did not use a keyboard or recorder. Certificate of membership is sent. List of VHSC members from sponsor or K1BV for SASE. (No, K1BV doesn't qualify, but he loves CW.)


Voorne-Putten Award

Contact Voorne and Putten departments R42 stations after 1 May 1981.  SWL OK.  PA's need 15 points.  Europeans need 2 including one contact with club station PI4VPO, all others need just one station plus PI4VPO.  Point values: HF/UHF/SHF = 3, and VHF = 1.  Club station PI4VPO = 4 points for HF/UHF/SHF and 2 for VHF.  All bands and modes, except repeater.  GCR list and fee of 5€ to: Cor Nuis PA2CNR, Rog 19, 3225 XG Hellevoetsluis, Netherlands.

88 Certificate                    Award is QRT after 1 Jan 2009 per PA3CUZ. 

Earn 88 points by contacting Dutch YL's after 9 May 1981. DYLC members are worth 8 points each for stations in Europe and 11 points each for all others. All other Dutch YL's count for 4/11 points respectively on HF, VHF 4/2. Associate members each 11 points after 1 March 1982. Half the YL's worked must be DYLC members which may be identified on their QSL with a membership number.
