The DD59 is awarded to any or amateur or SWL for contacts made with residents of the Northern Department (59).
Stations contacted or heard can be / M or / P, all bands, all modes, digital modes included. No QSOs via repeater. Contacts via satellites are valid. Each QSO must be to a different station regardless of the mode and the band. The starting date is 1 January 1950.
The diploma is divided
into 6 classes according to eligibility criteria include:
Basic diploma: 5 different stations contacted.
Diploma a star 10 different stations contacted.
High two stars: 15 different stations contacted.
High three stars: 20 different stations contacted.
High Excellence: 25 different stations contacted.
Jubilee High 50, 100, 150 ...: 50, 100, 150 ... different stations contacted.
Send GCR list, cards not needed. Contacts with special temporary callsigns, such as TM must indicate the call sign of the operator or the QSL manager. The QTH of the station must be specified on the QSL. Endorsements available for special achievement such as band or mode. The fee to accompany an application are 5, 12 IRC or $US6. There is no endorsement for different classes, each application is the subject of a new diploma.
